Urban Stampede

	Tell-a-friend Fire Hall Theatre Now in it's 59th year, the Fire Hall Theatre serves as host to various events, specifically as the home for the Greater Grand Forks Community Theatre, showcasing local talent in quality theatrical productions. The Fire Hall Theatre is a non-profit organization established in 1947.
	Tell-a-friend Empire Arts Center Empire Arts Center is a non-profit multi-purpose facility located in downtown Grand Forks, ND. Renovated in 1998, the Empire is a circa 1919 movie house renovated into a multi-use theater and gallery facility.
	Tell-a-friend Burtness Theatre Included in Burtness Theatre are a 365-seat proscenium theatre, a flexible-seating laboratory theatre, and scenic and costume shops. While Burtness is nearly 40 years old, major equipment purchases in lighting and sound and other remodeling projects help maintain this theatre as one of the best in the region. The University of North Dakota Department of Theatre Arts uses Burtness Theater as the primary facility for productions.
	Tell-a-friend Chester Fritz Auditorium In 1965 Chester Fritz, a University of North Dakota (UND) alumnus, gave UND one million dollars towards the construction of a "distinctive auditorium" on the campus. A matching appropriation of $1 million from the State of North Dakota and another $1 million in private donations completed funding for the impressive Chester Fritz Auditorium. Today the University of North Dakota is the site of the Chester Fritz Auditorium, one of the finest and most unique buildings in the state and the surrounding area. All types of live entertainment from professional music groups, dance companies, and theater groups to local folk artists and singing groups perform on its stage.
	Tell-a-friend North Dakota Museum of Art The North Dakota Museum of Art is the official art museum of the State of North Dakota. The museum is located on the campus of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. You may approach the campus from either the east or west on University Avenue. Turn south off University Avenue onto Centennial Drive, a one-way horseshoe through the heart of the campus. Follow the curve halfway and watch to your left for the Museum of Art. Two special features will help you identify the Museum: a new glass and limestone entrance graces the north side of the 1907 red brick building, and the Museum is surrounded by a circle of twenty granite stones that set the building apart from its neighbors. Hours: Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm Saturday and Sunday, 11 am to 5 pm Closed major holidays
