Jen Hutchinson: Batik Painting on Muslin and Silk

Work by Jen Hutchinson, a graduate of the University of North Dakota Department of Visual Arts, is on display at the Urban Stampede. Hutchinson's fiber artwork inlcudes batik paintings on muslin and silk. The show will be on view through January 29. A batik demo and reception will be announced. From her artist statement, Hutchinson writes, "Through observation and self-reflection, influential experiences are observed in the actions and characteristics of an individual. All of these accounts are essential in personal growth."
