The Marketing Services Partnership is proud to announce our second Breakfast Bootcamp Program: Media Usage. The bootcamp will be held November 9, at 8:30am at the Dakota Harvest Bakery in downtown Grand Forks. The topic will be Media Usage: How to Better Target your Audience, and a look at the relationship between Advertising and Ticket Sales. The two hour bootcamp will be an informal and candid look at audience and how they consume media. Who is your target audience, and where do they find out about events they attend? How do they make decisions on what programming to attend? Does advertising really lead to ticket sales? Research used will be organizational specific marketing research and audience surveys from the past year. Download our research primer and talking point sheet. 1) If you have your customized media usage report from the MSP, this will be used. If not, you can request one from the MSP by e-mailing our office (ben @ benklipfel.net) 2) If you have a copy of the 2005 Report on Public Participation in the Arts, that will be used. If you do not, they can be downloaded from our website. 3) We will look at national and other research on audience media choice and the relationship between ticket sales and advertising. Before the bootcamp, participants will recieve a 2 page summary of discussion. RSVPs are requested. To RSVP, call 701-777-0857, or e-mail Breakfast Bootcamps are two hour long, monthly meetings of area arts and culture groups that will help us better market as organizations and as a community. Unlike traditional workshops – these breakfast meetings will be based on research, idea generation, and action planning. Unlike traditional workshops, there will be an outcome with goals and objectives. Working together, we can improve our community!
