The MSP is proud to present its first Breakfast Bootcamp, "Too Many Flowers Blooming: Consumer Choices in the Arts" at the Dakota Harvest Bakery in Downtown Grand Forks on October 12. This two hour breakfast roundtable will take a candid look at public choices in the arts, specifically in Grand Forks and the region. Two specific pieces of research will be used: ~ Can There Ever Be Too Many Flowers Blooming: An article on Culture Choices by Barry Schwartz and ~ 2005 Survey of Public Participation in the Arts by the Marketing Services Partnership Two weeks before the bootcamp, participants will recieve a 2 page summary of discussion. To RSVP, call 701-777-0857, or e-mail Breakfast Bootcamps are two hour long, monthly meetings of area arts and culture groups that will help us better market as organizations and as a community. Unlike traditional workshops – these breakfast meetings will be based on research, idea generation, and action planning. Unlike traditional workshops, there will be an outcome with goals and objectives. Working together, we can improve our community!
