Kimberly Akimbo, written by David Lindsay-Abaire, is a black-comedy set in the wilds of suburban New Jersey.

This hilarious play, directed by Chris Berg (Hair, Trailer Park Musical, Lucky Stiff) tells the story of Kimberly (Mare Thompson; Bad Seed, Steel Magnolias), a teenager with a rare condition causing her body to age faster than it should. When she and her family flee Secaucus under dubious circumstances, Kimberly is forced to reevaluate her life while contending with a hypochondriac mother (Heather Helgeson), a rarely sober father (Pat DeMars; Same Time Next Year), a scam-artist aunt (Sharon Bures, Steel Magnolias, Night Mother), her own mortality, and most terrifying of all, the possibility of first love. Ryan King rounds out the cast as Jeff.

This production contains STRONG adult language.
